The large recreational area by each chalet is made for fun. Every chalet has a children’s playground with a sandpit and climbing frames.

There is also a playground for children and adults in the area.

The gazebo is covered, so you can have fun outside in any weather.

Jánošík’s Holes is one of the most attractive hiking trails in Malá Fatra.

There are over twenty waterfalls in Jánošík’s Holes, together forming the Waterfalls of Dierový brook. Even though the trail is more demanding, small children can manage it too.

From Uhorčík Resort, it’s less than a 30-minute walk to the birth house of Juraj Jánošík.

Visit this historical place and enjoy the beautiful views of the Terchová Valley that Jánošík himself once admired.

Take the 8-seater cable car to the ridges of Malá Fatra. The cable car ride is a pleasant experience.

Snilovské Saddle, where the cable car takes you, is an ideal starting point for hikes, even with small children.

Hiking in Malá Fatra is suitable for demanding hikers as well as for family tourism.

If you enjoy high mountain hiking, we recommend a hike to Veľký Rozsutec—the final ascent over rocks is challenging, but the views are amazing.

Discover the history of Terchová connected with the folk hero Jánošík at the Museum in Terchová – Jánošík and Terchová Exhibition.

The extensive exhibition is divided into several thematic sections, with its core focusing on Juraj Jánošík as both a historical and legendary figure.

On a circular route 13.5 km long, you can learn many valuable facts about Terchová from ten information boards.

The route is suitable for both pedestrians and cyclists, including families with children. Along the trail, you’ll also find campfire sites for grilling, facilities and climbing frames for children.

The scooters are specially adjusted, with an enlarged frame, wheels adapted for off-road riding, and reinforced brakes.

We will lend you quality mountain e-bikes and together we’ll explore the most beautiful cycling routes of Malá Fatra. We’ll enjoy a great cycling day together.

The reconstructed ruins of Strečno Castle above the village on the left bank of the Váh River.

The Terchová rope park is located in the center of the village near the football stadium and Terchová Amphitheater, in a pleasant pine forest environment.

It consists of many varied rope obstacles. It also includes a system of several zip lines. The rope park is the only one in the Malá Fatra mountains.

We recommend using it for a comfortable ride through Terchová. The train guide will provide you with plenty of interesting information so you’ll get to know Terchová even better.

It’s an ideal means of transport and fun, in any weather. You can also use it as a means of transport for hiking to Vrátna and Štefanová.
