- Children up to 6 years old (inclusive) accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket are free.
- Children aged 7-12 and juniors aged 13-19 must provide valid ID.
- Ski pass is valid throughout the entire Vrátna resort (600-1709 m above sea level) - Paseky, Poludňový Grúň, and Chleb. A total of 14 km of slopes, 12 lifts, 1 chairlift, and 1 cable car. Resort map

The ski resort offers 14 km of slopes in three locations, at altitudes from 600 to 1709 m above sea level. There is a ski school and kindergarten, equipment rental, and restaurants.


A winter vacation and skiing in Vrátna will delight both beginners and advanced skiers. The resort offers 14 km of ski slopes, 12 lifts, and 2 chairlifts. The ski resort provides a wide range of services including night skiing, a Kids Zone children’s park, ski service, freeride zones, and snow tubing for non-skiers as well.

Skiing at Vrátna Resort in Central Slovakia

Vrátna Ski Resort offers its visitors a total of 17 slopes with a total length of 14 km, 12 lifts, and 2 cableways. The maximum total capacity of the facilities is 10,850 people/hour. The second resort, SKI GAVURKY, is located directly in Terchová. The resort is ideal for beginners and for family skiing with small children. Vrátna Resort Map. Ski school and kindergarten, equipment rental

There are up to 4 ski schools operating in the resort. The resort has great conditions for skiing with children and for beginner skiers. For children, there is a Kids Zone park with a conveyor belt. Naturally, there is a ski and equipment service, equipment rental, and in addition to renting, it is also possible to test the ski equipment. Directly in the resort, there is a Rossignol ski equipment demo center.

Night skiing, buffets, restaurants

You can enjoy night skiing on 1.5 km of well-lit slopes. The resort has 2 restaurants. Panorama restaurant is at the top station of the cable car at an altitude of 1494 m with beautiful views, Humno restaurant is at the bottom station of the chairlift, and Café bar Paseky.

Ski mountaineering, freeride, winter hiking

Freeride and freestyle skiing and snowboarding in Vrátna! Enjoy skiing and snowboarding on ungroomed slopes. Up to 1200 meters, the terrain is mainly open grassland and dwarf pines, above 1200 meters the forests begin. In total, you can descend 1000 vertical meters while freeride skiing in Vrátna.

Cross-country skiing - new for the winter season 2025 - more than 30 km of maintained cross-country skiing trails in the Malá Fatra. Enjoy Malá Fatra like never before. Take your skis and from the cross-country trails discover beautiful corners of Malá Fatra and the snow-covered nature. Now, there are more than 30 km of maintained trails for cross-country skiing in 3 locations in Malá Fatra. Cross-country skiing has a really long and strong tradition in the Malá Fatra region.

Ilčík Chalet ***

The chalet has a capacity of 15+5 people. There are 5 rooms in the chalet. On the ground floor there is a common room and a winter garden with table football and a beautiful view of the surrounding nature. There is a kitchenette on every floor.

Rajnoha Chalet ***

The chalet has a capacity of 17+4 people. There are 6 rooms in the chalet. On the ground floor there is a large common room with a capacity of up to 48 people. On every floor there is a fully equipped kitchenette.
